Will never forget the 2011 dawn service at Villers Brettoneux, followed by the wreath laying ceremony at the town hall.
Very emotional for the thousands of Aussies and Kiwis who attended, and the magnificient speech by Kevin Rudd in both English and French.
So very well organized - congratulations to the Aust. Government and the citizens of Villers Brettoneux for a job well done.
The Wesley school choir sang beautifully at the service, as well as at a concern the night prior.
Beautiful voice from the female singer of the Aust Defence Force for her rendition of both the French and Austrralian National anthems, as well as the hymn How Great thou Art.
The memories of this event in 2011 will remain with me forever.
Well done.
